3. All you do are crunches

Even if you do 500 crunches per day, you might not have abs. Developing a six-pack takes more work than just crunches/sit-ups. Crunches only target one part of your abs, the rectus abdominus. You don’t need to eliminate crunches, but they alone are not enough. Diversify your ab workout, try planks, side planks, bicycle crunches, the roman chair, scissor kicks, and flutter kicks.
