Make This Anti-Inflammatory Drink With This Spice
Non-Dairy Golden Milk Tea
Turmeric is the spice of the moment. This bright yellow spice has so many health benefits. It comes from a root called Curcuma and is found in many traditional Indian dishes. It’s an anti-inflammatory and can benefit people who suffer from irritable bowel syndrome and arthritis. It is good for your liver as well. Drink this tea either at night or in the morning to start your day. It’s delicious, a little like a chai tea.
Heat 2 cups of almond milk (you can try another non-dairy milk) in a saucepan on low, add 1/2 tablespoon of ground turmeric, 1 teaspoon of grated ginger, 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon, 1/8 teaspoon of finely ground black pepper, and 1 tablespoon of honey. Mix well and let it all warm up together. Pour into a mug and enjoy!
